Gmail app for Android just got updated for Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) & later versions, which allow faster reply, archive and search function. The new update will save your time on actions, which most often used e.g. Reply and Mail Search. You can now reply and archive messages straight from the notifications with one single tap.

With new Gmail app, messaging its now more efficient and simple. According to Andy Huang’s engineer at Google, suggests to combine the update with the existing notification features by setting up different sounds for certain labels. The new Gmail app is now more search friendly due to faster search capabilities. It comes with better search suggestion as well. With better and faster search function, user can now easily and quickly search messages online and offline.
