Today majority of people knows how to compose and send mail using Gmail but ever wondered how this emails are delivered to its recipients. No one knows how this stuff work but Google have taken the effort to showcase and show the journey of email, the moment you click send. Google recently created new page/site called Story of Send that gives some behind-the-scenes information via images and video.
Google also reveals about its data center and how they backup data, how they destroy hard drives when they fail and some security measure taken to safeguard your data in the data center.
