People who have tried windows 8 Beta and willing to buy, could buy Windows 8 release copy by the end of this year. For the first time, Microsoft has provided details on Windows 8 release availability. Microsoft has revealed that its Windows operating system, Windows 8 will be available by the end of October 2012.
According to Windows Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Financial Officer Tami Reller, at the company’s annual Worldwide Partner Conference in Toronto, Canada, revealed that Windows 8 is on track to Release to Manufacturing (RTM) by the first week of August and will reach for general availability by the end of October. By the first week of August, the RTM version will be available for all partners to build system with Windows 8 Operating System. By the end of October, Windows 8 and Windows RT PCs will be available. She also revealed that the upgrades will be available starting in October. Windows 8 will be available in 109 languages across 231 markets worldwide.
As per Microsoft, all exciting users on Windows i.e. Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 can upgrade to Windows 8 for just $39. If you recently bought newly Windows 7 OS then the upgrade would cost for just $14.
After the RTM release, All developers can start earning money for their apps for windows 8, however as of now all Windows 8 Release Preview, can enjoy and try all apps for free.
