List of all Secret USSD Codes for Android Phones (Tested and Working)

List of complete USSD Codes for Android

We received an outstanding response for one of our previous articles, “Complete List of Secret Codes for Motorola Phones,” We received many requests to cover articles on Secret codes for Android Phones. We decided to post an article on the same.

What is the USSD Code?

Let us first understand what secret codes are, why it is used, and their purpose. Secret codes are nothing but USSD Codes. USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) is referred to as “Quick Codes” or “Feature Codes,” a protocol that allows you to send code across the network.

It helps network providers give you access to pre-configured services, such as balance inquiries, call forwarding, and service activation/deactivation.

Phone manufacturers also use this feature to build internal commands to control system function, which helps to access information, test, or access hidden features in the Phone.

For instance, if you know the USSD code for your network provider, you can quickly type it to check your balance and get the details from the provider. Let’s say to check the balance from your provider; the USSD code is *123#. Once you type the code and press the call button, the code will run and show the message as “USSD code running…”. If the code is valid, the provider will send the details; otherwise, it will show an error message.

Many people ask us why secret codes (USSD) are not working on their phones; the reason is that some phone manufacturers have disabled most of those codes. Hence, some codes work in some phone models but may not work in other manufactured phone models. Also, many codes have stopped working with the recent Android version releases, such as KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat, etc.

We have only listed working codes that we tested on many phone brands. However, the Samsung Galaxy Series does not support most of the code; therefore, we have mentioned explicitly in the description which codes are compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Phone. We will soon post a separate article for the Samsung Galaxy phone with all the USSD codes.

What is the USSD code running issue? How to Fix?

Sometimes, you may see that the device is taking a long time to show detail and is stuck on a screen where it is showing a message as “USSD Code running.” The main reason behind this issue could be due to the weak mobile network or invalid code. Make sure your mobile network has a good reception signal range before running the USSD code.

Please note: Most USSD codes listed here are safe to use and display information. However, some codes can be risky and should be used with caution to avoid potential data loss. Please read the description carefully before attempting to run the code on your Phone.
