Today most people love chatting on Google Talk via desktop. In case, you don’t have Google talk application on the system then the only option remains is to chat using the web browser. For some users, people don’t like to use the web browser for chatting instead they would prefer it on the desktop. If that’s the case same with you, then Google has an app for that. Google has developed an extension for Chrome were in you can chat on Google directly from your desktop.
Step 1: Install Chat for Google on Google Chrome Extension.
Step 2: Once Chat for Google extension installed, Google Chat will pop-up on the windows System tray.
Step 3:Sign-in to Google and enjoy chatting with your Friends and Family.
You can also quickly access Google+ hangout or chat via Google Voice Chat.
Note: As of Now, this extension does not support file transfer.
Is there any way to keep the Chat for Google in the system tray when you’re not in the Chrome browser?
No since this add-on is itself in chrome, you cannot keep it on system tray unless you open your chrome to use google chat on system tray…
