Google updated the unit conversion OneBox to make it more interactive and save multiple searches repeatedly. We all know about Google’s unit conversion OneBox where in; we search 1 pound in kg will result in its value directly on the search result page itself. However, Post this Google enhancement, it would be more easier to do unit conversion without multiple Google’s search. Once you do any search for e.g. 5 pounds in kg, you may see the result on the page as well as you will have the option to change the value for pound or kg directly from the OneBox. You can also select different unit measurement from the list, i.e. gram, stone, ounce, metric ton.
Google also added an option in the OneBox to change Conversion Type and switch to a different category, i.e. speed, length, temperature, volume, area, fuel consumption, time or digital storage.
Note: Google interactive unit conversion gadget will only be visible when you search for common measurement units. If you search like 10 radians in degree, then you may see old interface i.e you will see just the result.
